The next frontier of coaching may not be coaching - it may be ‘being.’

This is possible when one knows when to use the intellect and when it can ‘just be.’
The transformation from ‘sharp to subtle’ intellect is the key to human transformation.
For years, coaching has focused on:
• What to ask
• What to listen for
• What to reflect
• What to challenge
Important questions, no doubt, but a deeper question remains:
“Who is the coach being while doing all of this?”
In today’s coaching ecosystem, we are surrounded by competencies, frameworks and credentials.
And, yes, they matter… but beneath all of this lies a deeper inquiry:
“What is evolving within you as a coach?”

The Coachness™ journey explores five evolving expressions of the self:
• Fragmented self
• Observing self
• Regulated self
• Integrated self
• Instrumental self
This is not a ladder to climb but is an unfolding of awareness.
As this evolution deepens, something subtle shifts.
Listening no longer remains a technique.
Silence no longer is seen as a strategic tool.
Insight no longer comes from you, but through you.

While most coach development focuses on skills, Coachness™ explores the development of the coach.
Because sometimes the most important question is not:
“How do I coach?”
but
“Who am I when I coach?”
