As an ICF accredited PCC coach & having worked with clients for over 1700 coaching hours, here’s my humble submission, there’s perhaps nothing new to know!! All the wisdom that we need is already within us. We realise, or our memory is kindled about what we know when we read literature or stories that resonates with us. Understanding Coaching Competencies through Indic Wisdom felt like homecoming. The 8 coaching competencies as prescribed by ICF, is a great way to be, not just for implementation during coaching practice. Lending Indic wisdom to decode it further, helped me embrace them authentically and surge forward on the journey to further embody them. Krishna & April are wonderful facilitators, who in fact walked the talk by partnering with us on the journey, instead of merely sharing the knowledge. As a vintage practitioner & teacher of Yoga, Krishna introduces us to some good and effective ancient practices that help in the holistic development of the coach. This is a great program to invest in - whether or not one is an ICF Coach.

I've always been curious about the profound wisdom embedded in our ancient scriptures. Over time, I’ve come to realize that many modern Western frameworks are reflections of knowledge that our learned ancestors in India had discovered centuries ago. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way, we lost the art of building on and sharing this immense treasure. For instance, when I first encountered the DiSC framework, it immediately struck me how closely the four types align with the Kapha, Vata, and Pitta dosha combinations in Ayurveda. These parallels are not coincidental; they show that ancient Indic philosophies have been deeply rooted in understanding human nature and behavior long before modern theories were developed. If, like me, you've been fascinated by these connections, I encourage you to explore this incredible workshop that blends Coaching Competencies with Indic Wisdom. Having attended it myself, I can say firsthand that Krishna did a fantastic job of unraveling the essence of coaching through the lens of ancient Indian knowledge. This is not just a learning experience; it’s a journey that will deepen your understanding of both modern Coaching techniques and timeless Indic principles. If you’re looking to elevate your Coaching practice and integrate deeper insights, I highly recommend signing up! Don’t miss out—join this transformative workshop today!

The kind of work I am doing is mostly related to spirituality and I was introduced into Coaching. Without Krishna’s program, I would’ve never seen the spiritual aspect of it. Why I like being a Coach or Why I like this process is because it is about something that you discover about yourself. It is more than something people do for Corporate Leadership or Productivity or some other reasons. I am so glad that this happened to me through this path. I still have to master a lot of things that Krishna has offered in his cohort. I don’t think I have embodied even 1% of it.

Krishna, I want to express my gratitude for the deeply engaging workshops. Working with both of you on Indic wisdom and coaching competencies has profoundly deepened my mindfulness practices, especially Antar Mouna (Inner Silence) and Sakshi Bhava (Non-judgmental witnessing of thoughts). Previously, I would witness thoughts while distancing myself from them without addressing them. With Sakshi Bhava, I now recognize the category of each thought and decide how to address it. As a coach, my biggest takeaway is understanding the Dharma of a coach—not to be a protector or rescuer, but to hold space with empathy and curiosity. The experiential facilitation, inviting reflections on every topic, made the sessions very engaging. Both of you were always accessible, and we had plenty of fun and lighter moments. The 9 weeks just flew by.

I am delighted to have started the new year with a 3 day residential course on Indic Widom specifically addressing ICF Coaching Competencies! When I originally heard about this course from Shivani Mansingh ICF- PCC, I was intrigued. I was curious to understand what parallels could be drawn from 5000+ years old ancient wisdom to the recent ICF framework on Coaching Competencies! In the past several years, I have been drawn to know more about Indic wisdom. Whenever I attempted to read books on Advaita Vedanta and the works of Ramana Maharishi, I would be lost in the depth of the content. I realized that these are concepts that I need to experience in my being more than merely understand with my intellect. During the course, I understood why Indic wisdom is imparted as experiential learning through the Guru-Shishya tradition. I also understood that having a Guru (teacher) is essential to start decoding the scripture merely because the Shishya (student) needs to be held and taught to tread water as they learn to swim in the ocean of wisdom. Amidst the calmness and early morning mist in the outskirts of Bangalore, the space and time was beautifully held by Krishna Prakash and April Strong, for a learning immersion in the time-tested ancient wisdom. I was surprised how the knowledge that had been documented thousands of years ago was still very much pertinent and optimally structured in a way that needs no appending. I was able to map my own learning from the concepts not only on the Coaching competencies, but also on the larger scale of life learning. Out of several key learnings, here are my key takeaways: 1. Deepening self-awareness (Swadyaya): Learning about myself deeply allows me to bring my unconscious biases to the conscious, helping me to navigate conversations with clarity 2. Role Clarity (Dharma): When I am clear with what role I am playing in the specific context, my action and direction in each instance comes without confusion 3. Practice/ Process (Sadhana): Keeping a list of daily practices such as mindful listening, meditation, prayer etc. helps me to clear my mind of unwanted thoughts and thereby enhancing my listening more deeply 4. Knowledge (Pramana): When I am clear on what sources of knowledge are required for my occupation and keep seeking from these sources, I have all I need to fulfil my duties specific to the role I play. Thank you Shrimath Yoga team for your exceptional hosting and other fellow participants for journeying with me during this experience. With your presence, I made deep connections, meaningful reflections and insightful learning!

Namaste.. I just thought of sharing my experience with the mantra saadhana in my heart and abdomen. I felt that chanting with consciousness in the abdomen has grounded me a lot this week. Also am regularly practicing Antar Mouna stage 1 before the mantra saadhana and both together has enabled me a lot to contain.. There were 2 times when I had fear of situations this week. And that minute i tried Abdominal breathing second type and it relaxed me and the fear state reduced. It didnt go away. I have done this in the past, I have just added it to my routine practice from this week. I can experience my mind being clearer and work being effortless. And in coaching I can see myself being a mirror even more without any need to do anything without it being the client's need. When are others afraid of you - I contemplated this for long. And after some time I realised that when they sense a power in me that they can't reach, they fear. How I recognised this is when they call me with respect or ma'am etc, but it isnt about respect but about feeling lesser. However, I reflected and journalled that it is their fear and not what i create. In the past, I have feared also for similar reasons and i had to do my inner work to regulate that power inequality in my head to deal with it. This session, although I missed the live, has created a deep impact. I looked at it less about competency. Honestly, in the end, I forgot which competency we were exploring, but was more with the experiential that you asked us to do. For me that felt like the place to go. Thank you @Krishna Sir Namaste.. These last ten weeks Sep 14 - Nov 16, have been transformational for me at a level that is difficult to fully articulate. The Shrimath Yoga Coachness journey—rooted in the rigor of ICF coaching measures and the timeless depth of Indic wisdom—has opened a new dimension of awareness, presence, and purpose in my life. This program went far beyond skills training. Every week felt like entering a sacred space that combined structure with soul. The blend of ICF frameworks with India’s spiritual heritage was not just intellectually stimulating; it was emotionally grounding and existentially awakening. I learned not only how to coach, but how to be! Krishna Prakash our Guru, was extraordinary in every sense. The breadth and depth of his knowledge—spanning coaching science, human behaviour, mind management, and ancient wisdom—was awe-inspiring. Often, I felt that I would need several lifetimes to even come close to assimilating everything he carries. His humility, generosity of spirit, and ability to translate profound concepts into practical behaviour made each session feel like a precious initiation. Krishna ji - there is truly no guru dakshina worthy of the guidance you have offered. The only meaningful offering I can make is this: to live by the values, integrity, compassion, and clarity you have instilled in us, and to carry this light forward to as many people as I am able to serve. The cohort was another immense source of learning. I was surrounded by bright, thoughtful, deeply reflective minds who brought diverse experiences and perspectives. Every conversation expanded my own thinking. The generosity, vulnerability, and sincerity with which people shared made the experience even more enriching. I learned as much from my peers as I did from the curriculum, and I will always cherish this collective learning field we created together. These ten weeks have fundamentally shifted how I listen, how I hold space, how I perceive human potential, and how I show up in my personal and professional life. I now see coaching not as a technique, but as a sacred responsibility—an opportunity to elevate another person’s inner wisdom. My awareness has deepened. My inner stillness has grown. And my sense of purpose has become clearer than ever! This program has been one of the most meaningful investments in myself, and its impact will echo through many aspects of my life. My heartfelt thanks to the instructor, to the cohort, and to the Coachness team 🙏

What happens when ancient Indic wisdom meets the art of modern coaching? Transformation — inside and out. A Transformative Learning Journey with Shrimath I recently completed the Coaching for Indic Wisdom course with Krishna from Shrimath, and it’s been one of the most enriching learning experiences I’ve had. What truly stood out was how beautifully ancient Indian wisdom was blended with modern coaching principles — not just as theory, but as lived, embodied practice. Krishna’s facilitation was calm, insightful, and deeply reflective, creating space for genuine inner exploration. I’m also immensely grateful to my wonderful peers for the collective wisdom, openness, and shared reflections that made every session so meaningful. The group energy was a powerful teacher in itself. This journey has not only deepened my understanding of coaching, but also helped me reconnect with timeless principles of awareness, presence, and purpose. If you’re a coach (or simply on a journey of self-discovery) and want to explore the intersection of Indic wisdom and coaching, I wholeheartedly recommend this course by Krishna and Shrimath. It’s truly transformative.

I’ve known Krishnaji for a few years now, and every interaction with him has reinforced the same impression: a rare blend of presence, depth, and humility. He brings not only profound knowledge of our Indic wisdom traditions, but a way of transmitting it that feels spacious, grounded, and immediately alive in one’s own experience. One of the things I appreciate most about his programs is the kind of community they attract—participants from diverse professional and spiritual backgrounds, each bringing something meaningful into the space. I’ve learned as much from the group as from the content itself, and that is a direct reflection of the container Krishnaji creates. His teaching style is beautifully balanced: he brings timeless insights from the scriptures, but never as prescriptions. Instead, he invites each of us to turn inward, honour our lived experience, and listen to the wisdom already present within us. As a long-time Yogacharya and a trained coach, he weaves these worlds together with great skill and authenticity. As a coach myself, this program opened an entirely new doorway. Seeing the ICF coaching competencies through the lens of ancient Indic philosophy was transformative—especially in strengthening the qualities I consider the heart of coaching: compassion, non-attachment, and presence. The way Krishnaji illuminates these dimensions is both practical and profound. I would strongly recommend this program to anyone seeking to deepen their coaching—not just as a skillset, but as a way of being. If you’re looking to cultivate a more compassionate, non-attached presence and create richer containers for your clients to thrive, this program is a gift.

I was introduced to Krishna Prakash a few years ago through his Gita sessions, at a time when I was curious about Indic wisdom but also a little hesitant. Much of what I had encountered earlier felt inaccessible or distant. From the very first session, what stood out was how simple and grounded his way of teaching was. Krishna has a rare ability to hold depth without making it heavy. He explains complex ideas through lived examples, invites questions, and makes space for dialogue. There is no sense of hierarchy in the room. He shares knowledge without attachment, encourages you to sit with it, question it, apply it in your own life, and come back with what emerges. Sometimes he responds, and sometimes he simply invites you to stay with the discomfort or the silence. That, in itself, is powerful. What has kept me connected to his work for over two and a half years is not just what he teaches, but how he lives it. He speaks about Indic wisdom as a living tradition, and you can see that reflected in his own practice. There is humility, consistency, and integrity in the way he shows up. He also creates a culture of generosity and empowerment, celebrating the people around him and genuinely believing in travelling together. Through his sessions, I began to see concepts like dharma, leadership, and self-inquiry in a much more grounded and practical way. He bridges tradition with modern contexts effortlessly, whether it is coaching, leadership, business, or everyday life. I would wholeheartedly recommend Krishna to anyone who is seeking depth without dogma, tradition without rigidity, and wisdom that empowers rather than intimidates. If you are willing to slow down, sit with yourself, and do the work, his spaces offer something rare and deeply meaningful.

Some time ago, I attended "Integrating coaching competencies and Indic Wisdom" by Krishna Prakash. As a global tech leader working across 4 different countries and with major tech companies, I have experienced many leadership and coaching programs but few are as clear and universally relevant as this one. Krishna Prakash brings together the two worlds of ICF coaching principles and timeless Indic wisdom so effectively. This program has helped me deepen my presence, listening, and being even more non-judgmental in my coaching conversations with clients and teams. The Indic wisdom lens makes the the program very unique. What I valued most was how universally it is applicable and how it grounds me especially in difficult conversations. Please reach out to Krishna for more information and registration details. I can't recommend working with him and this program enough for senior leaders who want to deepen their coaching mindset and bring wisdom into everyday leadership.

I recently had the joy of attending Krishna Prakash's program on **Indic Wisdom and ICF Coaching Competencies**, and it turned out to be one of those experiences that quietly settles into the heart and keeps unfolding long after it's over. What struck me most was Krishna's presence-calm, grounded, unhurried. He didn't just teach concepts; he *lived* them. The way he wove together ancient Indic thought with modern coaching frameworks felt so natural, almost effortless. I found myself not just learning, but *experiencing* the depth of that wisdom in a way that shifted something within me. His communication is simple yet profound-never heavy, never preachy, but deeply resonant. Every session felt like an invitation to pause, reflect, and connect with what truly matters. I walked away feeling lighter, more aware, and genuinely inspired by the beauty of knowledge written centuries ago, now made alive and relevant through his facilitation. I am grateful for this experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Krishna to anyone who is curious about inner clarity, authentic leadership, or simply being more present to life. His approach isn't just instructional-it is transformative in a quietly powerful way
